But I was busy trying to save the Western Roman Empire from eternal darkness. I was doing my duty for Nake, but it was kind of a no-win situation. But that also makes it a good game. In the year AD, you can try to save the divided Roman empire from the barbarian hordes. And after you deal with them, then you have to fight Attila. Or you can play the barbarians themselves.

I do have large armies but I have plent of regions. I try to upgrade buildings as best I can, but what wwar the best way to maximise profits?

War is Monej Post edited by joegouvin on April December edited December Not having so many units in your army’s and navies. With big armies come weak economy. At least for me:. Well my navy is very small, and My largest army is about 14 mony, I have a few samller ones like units and some garrison hest. There are numerous guides that you can look to for some advice on attola.

There totsl stickied threads with access to these guides. The surplus food with contribute to your economic growth. They both increase a territory’s wealth — Markets in particular give ridiculous amounts of wealth as they are upgraded. When they are garrisoned inside of a territory’s castle, they passively increase the percentage of territorial wealth that contributes to your taxed revenues. This trait can be improved as your Metsuke’s level increases. This will lead to strong relations that will not easily break, thereby maintaining this valuable source of revenue.

Furthermore, your trade will also inherently generate more qay the longer the agreement is maintained. When trading, you will produce far attlla income if you are selling off some sort of valuable goods. These tips of mine are reflective of a slowly expanding clan, which during the early-game only declares war when it sees an opportunity to quickly eliminate and conquer an unpopular neighbour.

It is only around the early mid-game that this style typically generates enough wealth for you to begin a proper campaign of conquest.

However, I am certain that there are other styles of playing. Rather than investing resources into farms, markets and the like to incubate domestic economic growth, you could instead choose to play more aggressively and attempt to make your wealth from conquering many territories quickly. The reason I personally don’t advise this is because in my experiences, if you expand rapidly conquering everything in your wake by investing in your military, your economy generally tends to become neglected.

On top of this, you eventually start to find that your military expenditures become excessive, and your economy is not sufficiently growing to meet that excessive need, since rather than investing in infrastructure, all of your spendable income is spent on maintaining an army to hold your vast domain of underdeveloped, and largely worthless territories.

Battle not with Canadians, lest ye become a Canadian, and if ye gaze into the maple syrup, the maple syrup gazes totall into you. Try to capture all the trade nods as. You’ll need them in the long run as they will give you resources that no other clan can get a hold of and will more than likely be willing to set up trade with you just for access to those resources.

Get some geisha, set up a bar, charge admission. Create an economic powerhouse province. A province where you eventually maek it up to have the Kabunakama market lineInfamous Mizu Shobai District sake den kake and Famous Temple temple line or Cathedral church line. In Hojo’s area Suruga would be a good one. On the other side Settsu province. These two because they have a port minor growth boost and Philosophical tradition tax boost. My best example from a christian domination campaign.

There are useful techs in the first three tiers of the bushido arts, but it’s chi side of the tech tree that is overpowered. Start early and work your way up the economic techs on the far right. No use teching up to elite units before one can attilz. Once you’re established, it doesn’t take long to have more wag than you can spend.

The literal translation of «Kensai» is «sword saint». Mske upgrade castles where you don’t need. This is a major one; the more castles you have, the less excess food you have, the slower the economic growth of your provinces. You don’t need big strongholds. Specialize your provinces. They should either be unit producing provinces or omney provinces.

Economic provinces should never have more than one castle upgrade, and should only have Markets and Sake Dens built in. Unit producing provinces should be the ones that give you special bonuses, if possible, such as Blacksmiths, Pilgrimage Sites, and Warhorses. Unit producing provinces should be agtila only places where you upgrade your castles to more than 2 building slots. You shouldn’t have more than one unit production province per economic provinces.

If you can manage to get by with even fewer unit production provinces, so much the better. Upgrading farms is your highest priority, even over building your army. Farms provide the majority of wealth from provinces, and of course, surplus food supply increases the growth of all your provinces. Don’t upgrade markets, except for maybe one in your entire empire.

Even that is sometimes questionable; basically by upgrading a market, you are prioritizing wealth and growth in that one province at the expense of all your other provinces. What saint said. More, let me add, many people forget to do the opposite steps once they conquer new provinces. You should demolish any buildings ro are NOT according to your economical masterplan. Oh yes.

Generally speaking, a full army stack’s upkeep is around koku wwr turn, depending on the unit composition. So make sure you can afford it before starting to recruit more units. You don’t always need full stacks, of course, but after about years of game time, most of the enemy armies you meet will eay full stacks, or nearly so, so it’s usually not worth it in my mind to field smaller armies.

Except if you’re playing dar Takeda and going blitzkrieg with a bunch of cavalry heavy armies. Also, build a level 3 castle there and fit it with a Grain exchange; a temple; and a Sake den. If you do that them it will add to the happiness of the city and tax income as. Insanely well done! The perfect province doesn’t exist but if it did it should have very fertile soil, preferably a Naban Trade Quarter, the top Sake Den chain you can affort, a Market higher if food allows but remember this hurts empire growtha Cathedral, and one of the big economic resources all overseen by a Metsuke focused on Overseeing Towns.

Wqy other trade resources is nice and they may provide a commerce boost to their provinces but the important thing for them is just to get the trade good which monry can then sell. Do not upgrade roads, build only first level markets and do not upgrade anything.

You’ll be winning on legendary very quickly, because this total war attila best way to make money was balanced in the best tradition of CA and attia CA patched it for single player balance, like they always do with their games which they always patch to perfection before beet on to their next perfectly balanced game with great AI alright, I admit this post must besst confusing. I try to trade with whomever possible, including sending a ship around the map in each direction to establish contact. Might be able to catch far-off nodes too if you’re lucky. I tested this I found, as saint said, the best way is to upgrade, only if you NEED to.

I often total war attila best way to make money to christianity early for gunpowder. However, I found four armies the best to save money. HTH S! Trade and farms. Capture the European trading ports, they bring in a fortune. Research as much farming technology as possible.

April edited April I found the best way to make money is a church growth and market in every province By end of game bungo was at farming, commerce but town!!! I’m curious if more than this can be made on v. Closed to avoid further necro-posting.
